- Alor Setar is the capital of Kedah.
- Kedah covers an area of approximately 9,425 sq. km, and its highest peak is Gunung Jerai standing at 1200 meters tall.
- It’s considered to be the “rice bowl” of Malaysia, as its main produce is rice.
